At Ghana Muslims UK CIC, we value transparency, integrity, and community trust. This policy outlines our approach to donation refunds, product returns, and customer support for our online shop at https://ghanamuslims.org.

1. Donations Policy

As a Community Interest Company, donations made to support our mission are voluntary contributions and generally non-refundable. This allows us to immediately allocate resources to ongoing programs, including events, mentorships, and cultural outreach.

Exceptions may be considered in the following cases:

  • Duplicate donations

  • Incorrect amount entered

  • Technical error during processing

If you believe your donation was made in error, please email us within 7 days of the transaction at:

⏱ Refunds (if approved) will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

2. Shop Returns & Refunds

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not happy with a product bought from our shop, you have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to request a return.

  • The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition

  • You must provide proof of purchase

❌ Non-Returnable Items

  • Digital downloads or online event access

  • Perishable goods or Ramadan kits containing food

  • Opened personal care items (e.g., oils, creams)

  • Custom or personalized products

  • Clearance/sale items

To request a return, email us at shop@ghanamuslims.org with your:

  • Order number

  • Product details

  • Reason for return

Once approved, return instructions will be provided. Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item was faulty or incorrect.

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued within 5–7 business days

  • Refunds will be made to your original payment method

  • You will be notified by email once your refund is processed

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item:

  1. Email shop@ghanamuslims.org within 3 days of delivery

  2. Include clear photos and your order number
    We will offer a replacement, exchange, or full refund β€” no return needed in most cases.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the return process and place a new order separately.
